Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who is celebrating today!  It's my (Shelby) turn to give you a little bit of inspiration today.

Twinkle Toes is such a versatile stamp!  I've dressed her up for Christmas, but she can be used year round for lots of great themes!
Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope everyone has a wonderful and especially safe Thanksgiving!

Posey

Hi :)  Kathy here, with a card I made with one of the gorgeous new images by Sylvia Zet.
This one is  Posey.  Isn't she adorable!!!

I used star dust stickles on her wings and when dry cut them out.  I then used a knife to cut a little slit along Posey's back and slid the wing in behind.  Then I put some dimensionals near the end of her wings to raise them up and give it a real 3D effect.  I also sponged a cloudy sky behind her.

I also used a stamp from the Magical Mini Letter Seals set. It is a perfect set to use with fairy stamps.

I hope you get some time to do something creative today :)

Kathy

Monday Inspiration from Jodi

Good morning Whimsy friends... It's a cold and gloomy day here in Colorado - the perfect day for making soup, baking bread and doing some crafting!  I am thrilled to show you a couple of cards I just finished up this morning....

The first one uses the adorable image from Elizabeth Bell called AppleCyder Jubilee.  It's just what I want to do today, sip hot cocoa and eat cookies.  I colored her with my Copics, used some cute My Mind's Eye Christmas papers, and finished it with a simple sentiment and some punched holly and bows.

My second card today is simple but I love the striking way it shows off the new die cut from Whimsy called Tall Timber.  I framed it with a Spellbinders die cut and added a simple bow and sentiment.  The edges of the card were punched with a edge punch to add elegance.

I hope your Monday is awesome and that you get some time to do what you love to do!

Hugs,

Rosetta

Hello Patricia Here and it's my turn to host the Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Blog and today I would like to share a card I made with an older wee image but still one of my favorites.
She is called Rosetta and is currently available, She was colored with distress reinkers. I added lots of glitter to the big pretty roses.
My sentiment is also from Whimsy Stamps, these are the Everyday Button Sentiments and are perfect for all your crafting needs.
Here is a close up on the flower arrangement, I love these wired butterfly's!! Thanks for your visit!!

Snowman String of Hearts!

Hi Everyone! It's Shannah here today to share some Whimsy Inspiration with you!

I made this card for our November Rubber & Die Release, using the adorable "Snowman String of Hearts" by Crissy Armstrong. I couldn't resist their happy little faces! ;)

I also used "Layered Snowflake Dies", "Season's Greetings Notables 7"  and "Notables 7 Die" by Raindrop Echo Designs -  all available from Whimsy Stamps.

The designer papers are Simple Stories 'Handmade Holidays' 6x6 paper pad, and I used Fun Flock and Stickles for some sparkle and fun!

You can see more details, and the Copics colours I used, on my blog Embellished ExpresShan's.

Hope you have a happy day!

Snow Much Fun Tag

Hi ya everyone!  Melissa here with a tag I made for the anything goes challenge happening now!  I love this image from Time for Tea designs called Sledging.  I colored her with my Copics and paired it with the layered snowflakes die. I sprayed a number of different mists over the snowflake cut-outs.  I then stamped the holiday mini letter seal sentiments over it.  I added some white lace tape and denim twine too!  The final touch was stardust stickles.  I hope you enjoyed my tag today.  Head over to the shop and check out all the Time for Tea stamps!

A Christmas Card Album!

Hi, Deb here!
The weeks are flying by I find myself desperately trying to get ahead as I know the festive season can be quite frantic.  This year I wanted to make more than a card for my kids so each of them will receive an album filled with photos of them from last Christmas.  Having 4 kids it is quite an undertaking but I know how much they enjoy looking at all the albums I make so it really is a labour of love!
For this album, for one of my boys, I just had to use this cutie!  He is Whimsy Stamps Lil Jack and Bobbins Christmas by Elisabeth Bell. he was coloured as always with Prismacolor pencils. He is so adorable, I am going to be using him a lot!   Also from Whimsy, the die that I am using on just about every Christmas creation, the Holly and Berries die. It is the perfect embellishment for any bare corner, I love it!
Other supplies are paper by My Minds Eye, Enamel dots by My Minds Eye and Teresa Collins, Tim Holtz picture wheel die and recollections album blank.
Thank you for dropping by!

Altered Can- All Boy

Hello Whimsy Fans;

Janette here to share an altered can that I did for my boys out of an empty formula can. There is a tutorial shared in the July/CHA Magazine Issue #13 with step by step pictures. They are currently using it like a bank to keep their allowance but it can easily be used as a pencil holder.

I have used Rad Boarder by Kenny K currently on sale at the Whimsy Store. I have colored him up with Copic markers (colors listed on magazine).

FYI- Whimsy has a Retiring Section with products reduced 50%!!! You must visit the store and place your order pronto for best selection.

Thanks for visiting.

Hugs;
Janette

Winter Friends

Hello Everyone - Iris here today! This cute image is called 'Winter Friends' from Sylvia Zet and is from the October release. It's available in Whimsy Rubber HERE.

I colored with Graph'It markers. The papers are from an older MME collection and just fit my image perfectly. Usually I pick my papers first and then I color accordingly to the DP colors. This time just started coloring and was happy to see that the MME fit quite nicely. I already saw me going through my stash of papers for ever to find a match - something I hate to do.... The sentiment is from Whimsy's Winter Letter Seals. Snowflake dies I used are from Spellbinders.

Here are the colors I've used:

Skin/Cheeks: 4120, 4125, 4155, 4135
Dress: red:5210, 5220, 5250, 3170/ turquoise: 7210, 7220, 7250, 7270
Hair: 3190, 3170, 3130, 4180, 4155, 4115
Bunny: 9100, 9101, 9103
Penguin: 9109, 9107, 9105, 9103,9101 / 2120, 1210
Snow: 7125, 9101
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs,
